RUSNANO to Prepare International Financial Standards Reports
Submitted birger — Sun, 11/15/2009 - 21:26Along with preparing financial reports required by Federal Law № 139, On the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies, and Federal Law № 129, On Accounting—will begin issuing consolidated financial reports in accordance with international financial standards in 2009 for the RUSNANO Group and the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies.
This decision is another step in the corporation’s strategy to increase transparency in its interaction with Russian and foreign financial institutions.
Russia: 3 State Corporations To Lose Status in ’10
Submitted birger — Sun, 11/15/2009 - 21:22Russian Technologies, Rusnano and Vneshekonombank will likely lose their status as state corporations as early as next year, presidential aide Arkady Dvorkovich said Thursday.
The state corporations could be transformed into state-controlled joint-stock companies in 2010, Dvorkovich said at a news conference responding to President Dmitry Medvedev’s state-of-the-nation address.
Medvedev laid out the case against state corporations in his address to the Federation Council, saying some of the corporations should be wound down soon.

News of the order was published on the Kremlin website in a statement with the heading «Dmitry Medvedev has instructed Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to present proposals by March 1, 2010 for the reform of state corporations.»

Russian Scientific Delegation Visits AFM Maker Asylum Research

Israeli Chief Scientist: Russia Seeking to Cooperate with Us

Russia wants to cooperate more closely with Israel in research, development, and production of hi-tech ideas and products.

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan start ecological cooperation

CJSC informed that in Tashkent they discussed the cooperation issues in the environment protection sphere with leadership of national holding company Uzbekneftegaz.

Siberian company building up cooperation with Japan in nanotechnologies

His company is registered in the Novosibirsk region.
Mirchev said he held a range of useful business meetings with top executives of Konica Minolta IJ Technologies, which is located in the city of Hino, and Nichia Corporation of Tokushima.
